S & ZQ’s wedding celebration originally had a solemnisation and dinner scheduled, but the latter had to be postponed due to Covid-19 restrictions. This was memorable as our first wedding together with S & ZQ entering the new restrictions set in place. Navigating the changes by the government was such a roller coaster, but we were glad we had each other. You guys were such a blessing during this period, S & ZQ!

Part I: the solemnisation ceremony outdoors (& we were blessed with beautiful light that evening).

At Open Farm Community outdoor area, we lined the aisles with smaller hedges and then a deconstructed arch to frame the solemnisation area. Shying away from the usual feminine look, we did an organic, grassy wild take on S & ZQ’s autumnal theme. Deep maroons and burgundy, with pops of deep and brighter orange amidst complementing foliage.
