grapes for their mutual love of wine, a broccolini for the one veg that ZQ hates but S always nags at him to eat.

S & ZQ’s wedding celebrations had to be split into two sessions due to Covid-19 restrictions. Although it was not ideal, the blessing in disguise was that we were able to craft two completely separate themes for them. This was Part II where we were finally able to resume the dinner celebration with their guests.

With Part II of their celebration being focused on just dinner tables, we wanted to weave in as much details of their love story as we could. The decor would be up close and personal with guests from their inner circles. Texture, smell and aesthetics, we went all in.

At Open Farm Community, we scattered elements that are inspired by their love story around all the guest tables. As their romance started in Australia, the vibe of the flowers were to be wild and mixed in with native foliage and blooms. Other details we wanted to include were their love for coffee, wine, hikes and also ZQ’s hate for broccoli that S would always force him to eat. To weave in their quirks, we had aromatic coffee beans, desert rocks, grapes and of course, just for the fun of it…broccoli and broccolini.
