E & B gave us lots of creative freedom from deciding the direction of the palette to the style. The only brief was something light to match the airy interior of 1-Atico and a pop of lively colour and nothing too dark. Taking inspiration from the gentle, kind and thoughtful vibe emitting from this thoughtful couple every time we chatted, we came up with this calming spring palette of lilac, cream, burnt orange and a pop of burgundy. It was so en pointe they loved it right at the first proposal.

Plus it doesn’t hurt that this palette has been something we were secretly manifesting for awhile, waiting for the right occasion and this was it — we were stoked!

We wanted to reduce as much flower waste as possible and made all of the flowers into manageable ‘dabao’ pieces for the guests. For the aisle especially, the hedges became a combination of a couple of centrepieces from the guest tables. All to be repurposed during turnover for lunch setting & they were such a hit that almost all were brought home after by guests!

“Perhaps we were friends first and lovers second. But perhaps this is what lovers are.”

For the rest of the tables, we concentrated on keeping it airy and elegant with bud vases.
But of course, the VIP tables had centrepieces as well for that depth and lushness to it.

Instead of the usual ribbon, we used aromatic pepper leaves cascading from a little hoop to secure the table cloth. We chose to have it as a hoop for the little circle to represent the forming of E & B’s union.
